This is an incredible opportunity to acquire a business that is already organically funneling in leads through its well-established brand, partnerships and relationships. Another huge value to this business is that there are several manufactures that only work with CalMed, giving them exclusivity to certain products.
By being one of the few suppliers in the Caribbean, this also allows for a ton of growth opportunities with a captured audience. Potential growth opportunities include expanding markets down island, acquiring a pharmaceutical license, pursuing new manufacturers, hiring a biomed (medical equipment repairs), and adding in additional sales representatives with an aggressive marketing strategy. There is currently only one sales representative/employee who works both in sales and operations.
Note: Due to major fluctuations in receivables from purchase orders (these are separate from the inventory they have in stock) there would need to be a target working capital amount set in a purchase agreement. Then just before closing they will estimate what the exact working capital is at the moment.
