The neighbors are friendly and helpful but not in view. The Ridge to Reef farm next door has Pig Roasts and Slow Down Dinners, and bush skills workshops like building with bamboo. The Mt Victory Camp offers Reggae Concerts and outdoor survival workshops. Views to the south are of the Mt. Victory Ruins consisting of the factory, school and 2 sugar mills. Looking north, beyond the Farm, you will see Maroon Ridge, and in the distance on a clear day, you may see the islands of St Thomas, Vieques, and Culebra. The west looking view takes in the Creque Dam Valley, which is filled with dramatic scenery and waterfalls. At the bottom you can see the quiet Sprat Hall Beach and the turquoise Caribbean stretching out before you. Our neighborhood includes all sorts of animals and birds including wild peacocks, hence the unofficial name of the property; Peacock Place. We have hosted many large groups on the property including weddings, Land Trust and church. It was on the Landmark Society's 2014 Tour of Homes. Extra architectural touches include Ironwork by Walsh Metal Works. This has been a truly amazing place to live and a great privilege to own and maintain.
